• A complete history and physical examination
• Initial prenatal blood work
• Weight
• Blood pressure
• Urine screening
• Prenatal education and counseling
• Insurance and financial counseling (Please bring copy of your insurance card with you at your 1st visit)

This first visit will take approximately 45 minutes.  You will initially meet with a medical assistant that will review your medical history.  She will also obtain your weight, height, blood pressure and temperature. 

The physician will do a complete exam including breast exam, pap test (if indicated), and pelvic exam.

Prenatal labs and urine will be obtained at this initial visit.

Follow up visits:

• Weight
• Blood pressure
• Urine screening (check for glucose and protein)
• Listen to fetal heart tones and evaluate growth
• Answer any questions regarding your pregnancy
